Cardboard boxes and tubes (from paper towels and toilet paper, you can easily make your own custom box forts for mice!
Cut up old T-Shirts turned into braided ropes. These can easily be attached to any surface with holes using craft wire.
PVC elbows from the hardware store, just make sure your mice can fit through them comfortably.
Driftwood and fruit tree branches just make sure they are properly cleaned and baked before use.
Shredded paper towels, the thicker ones tend to work better but you can cut your own or run some through a paper shredder if you have one. This makes a great nesting material.
Old ceramic tea light candle holders as hides that come in all shapes and sizes. Just make sure mice cannot get stuck in them.
Cardboard egg cartons or cup carriers, you can find these pretty cheap in store or they come free with your carton of eggs or restaurant beverages. You can even cut them in half to create more than 1 hide.
Stuffed TP tubes, you can block off 1 end of a toilet paper tube with paper towels then place a mix of grass and seed mix in the middle then block off the other end with more paper towels. This will give plenty of enrichment for hours!
Cheap or old plastic bowls with ventilation holes drilled into the top. You can also add a "doorway" just make sure it is big enough for your mice to fit through properly.
