How do transports work?

Sometimes we do transport mice ourselves. This is typically only within our home state (Maryland) on pre-planned routes that are at maximum 2hrs from our location. We charge 65 cents a mile to do in-state runs, this costs may be split among multiple adopters if applicable.  

Out of state transport is not done by us. We are willing to work with companies that transport all over the United States. These companies are safe and reliable also they are typically a lot cheaper than driving yourself. They usually cost anywhere from $25 to $75 company dependent.  

It is your responsibility to set up and pay for transport. We may help you look for transport and give advice on how they are run but we cannot set up transport for you. Most companies will have a form you must fill out before paying for your stop. 

Transport companies will have lists or maps including areas and specific stops they will be stopping at. You will want to find a transport that is first coming near us and then close to you. 

Typically transports will not stop at your house as they are not a door to door service, instead they will meet you in a public area. They have enclosures in the vehicle and are given food and water until they arrive. The buyer and seller are both typically added to a group-chat along with everyone else on the run. 

You do not pay us for the transport, you only pay us for the animals. Payment for transport will go directly to the transport company.
